Hey ya'll! My name is Tori and I am so excited about serving the Lord with ya'll this summer! He has such huge plans for us and I cannot wait to see how the Holy Spirit will be revealed! :) Okay, so a little about me, I live in Milledgeville, Georgia where I attend Georgia College and State University. I am a psychology major and absolutely love it! I plan on starting an ophanage over seas, and do Christian counseling. I have a huge passion for kids, and I want them to be a part of my daily life. That being said, I am the oldest of four kids, and I adore my three siblings. Grant will be 17 next week and is a junior in high school. He is so much fun to be around, and has grown in the Lord so much within the past year! Praise the Lord! My brother Kyle is twelve and is in 5th grade, he plays football and absolutely loves it. Finally, my baby sister Payton will be three in March, she is the cutest little thing, with lots of energy and a super sweet heart. It's a little crazy to have a sister that is 17 years younger than me haha. My parents are also wonderful! My dad and step mom and little sister live in Arizona and have a relationship centered on the Lord. They just started their own non-profit organization a year ago called Blessing Others. My mom lives here in Georgia and is full of so much energy and loves being outside. My family means the world to me :)

Along with going to school I am also on Student Staff for Younglife. I am a leader at Grady High School in Atlanta(an inner city school) where I run with the girls cross country team, and track team and tell broken high school students about the Lord and how much He loves them and pursues them everyday :) I absolutely love all the girls at Grady High Schhool, and although I am there mentor, they have taught me so much about live! I also lead a girls college small group here at Georgia College and State University, I think it is so important to get in the Word with girls/guys our age that are continuely longing for more! On Sunday mornings I teach Kindergarten Sunday School to a group of awesome kids who love to have a good time and sing about our King.

I am so excited about the opportunity this summer to serve this man we call Abba. I love the fact that He has put us here to be His hands and feet, what a blessing! Some things I am looking forward to is just sharing the Gospel with the poor and broken and praying for healings and for hearts to be opened to receive! Praying is one of my favorite things :) it is so powerful and puts me in awe everytime. I am also excited about traveling through Africa among the African people, to play with kids and to simply show them the love of Jesus Christ.

Throughout high school I went to Mexico three times on mission trips, and this is where the Lord showed me that He has called me to the Nations. Then, last summer I went to Africa! The Lord has laid Africa on my heart since my Freshman year of high school, and now I know why :) My trip last summer to Africa was two weeks long and I went with six other Younglife leaders. We went to Tanzania where we worked in two Younglife camps and saw over 150 high school students give their lives to Christ, His Holy Spirit was so extremely present and powerful. When I returned back to the States after my trip the Lord made it clear to me that my work was not done in Africa, but that He still was calling me their to be His hands and feet!

Okay now for some random facts about me. I am a pretty laid back girl, and just go with the flow. I love love love to laugh and smile, I do both alot. I grew up swimming my whole life and also ran cross country throughout high school, and part of college. I love running, swimming, being outside, swinging in my hammock, and throwing the frisbee. I am a people person and love being around people of all ages. Worship is my joy, I feel so much intimacy with the Lord when I worship! I love singing, and I sing alot, but am extremely bad haha. I also love coffee, chick-fil-a(I could eat there everyday), going on roadtrips, baking, hanging out with friends, painting, taking pictures and simply loving on people! I am so excited to meet all of ya'll, praying for your hearts as the Lord prepares each of us for an incredible journey!
